Shopify, a cloud-based ecommerce platform, has announced that it has completed the sales partnership with Amazon. The Amazon Marketplace is now been integrated with the Shopify platform, enabling clients who sell their products in USD to use their Shopify account to access the Amazon sales channel. It is now become generally available to all users.
From the Announcement:
Director of Product at Shopify, Brandon Chu, considers the partnership to be significant as it would strengthen its “robust multichannel commerce strategy,” along with enhancing the merchants’ ability “to sell anywhere their customers buy.” Chu added, “With an estimated 40% of Shopify merchants already selling in online marketplaces, Shopify has further simplified the processes to gain entry into Amazon.”
