Pegasystems has added Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services to its network of cloud partnerships, advancing the Cambridge, MA-based company towards its goal of placing Pega Platform and CRM applications on the most widely used public clouds. The announcement came during Pegaworld 2017, taking place in Las Vegas this week. Making the Pegasystems suite of software cloud-agnostic has long been a major Pegasystems goal. In May, Pegasystems announced a similar partnership with Pivotal, adding Pega software to the Pivotal Cloud Foundry. The expanded cloud partnerships, with more to come, are in direct response to client demand, according to an article on CMSwire.
From the story: “We believe that giving our clients freedom to choose their cloud platform is a significant differentiator — particularly in a software market that typically doesn’t give their customers any choice at all,” said Don Schuerman, Chief Technology Officer and VP of Product Marketing for Pegasystems.
