Yelp acquires Turnstyle Analytics

Yelp looks to expand its customer acquisition platform with the addition of Turnstyle Analytics, a location-based marketing and analytics company that uses Wi-Fi as a marketing tool to retain and reward customers.  By pairing Yelp’s extensive capabilities with Turnstyle’s service, businesses will be able to utilize their guest Wi-Fi as a way to keep in touch with customers who visit their locations in order to increase in-store sales and encourage repeat visits.
